Welcome to our Centre! We offer one-on-one individual IEP’s (Individual Education Programs) with individual attention and learning, that compliment any curriculum. We meet children where they are at, and help them to succeed and thrive! We combine therapy approaches into the educational curriculums – allowing children to move, grow and learn in a way that works for them.

 

Our program is designed to provide personalized, individual attention to each student, with inout from the therapists on-site – a perfect way to learn. Helping them develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed in their studies and in life.

 

Our qualified teachers are passionate about education and are dedicated to helping each student reach their full potential. They use a variety of teaching techniques and therapy resources to engage students and make learning fun – incorporating many therapeutic interventions as guided by our amazing on-site therapy team (including OT, Physio, speech therapy, psychology, Integrated learning therapy, and horse riding therapy).

Horse Riding and HippoTherapy

Hippotherapy (horse riding therapy) is truly amazing and can be used to target the specific therapeutic needs of children and adults alike. It provides motor and sensory input to the rider, and is used to improve muscular control and strength, neurologic functions, and sensory processes Riding is used for patients with physical, sensory, emotional, and/or cognitive difficulties. Horses form a very special bond with people and can mimic a person’s emotions. That is why this type of therapy is so amazing and unique to other types of therapy! And of course our students LOVE this activity.

During Hippotherapy we (therapists) position the rider in all types of positions (including on the tummy and backward riding) and encourage specific exercises while the horse is moving. It is remarkable

Extra Murals and Therapy

  • Therapy – All therapies are offered on-site, from the school premises, during the school day. (Occupational therapy, speech and physiotherapy, Integrated learning therapy, trauma counselling and psychology)
  • Horse Riding – Offered weekly as part of the school curriculum (included in the school fees).                                                   
  • Robotics and coding (included in the school fees)
  • PhysiKids (A program designed by a physiotherapist to get children moving while having fun – working on coordination, strength and balance)
