Nazmeerah Ismail is a dually qualified Speech Therapist and Audiologist with over a decade of clinical experience. She graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2014 and has since dedicated her career to helping children overcome communication challenges and reach their full potential.
Nazmeerah began her professional journey working in community clinics and a specialised school for children with autism, gaining hands-on experience with a wide range of speech, language, and auditory conditions. For the past 8 years, she has been the proud founder and director of Speech Perfect, a thriving private practice based in Lenasia and Glenanda. Under her leadership, Speech Perfect has grown into a team of four dedicated and compassionate therapists who share a common goal: delivering evidence-based, personalised therapy that supports each child’s unique developmental journey. The team believes in working collaboratively with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure therapy is both functional and impactful in real-world settings.

Nazmeerah’s clinical interests and areas of expertise include: Autism Spectrum Disorders, Developmental delays, Speech sound disorders (articulation and phonology), Stuttering (fluency disorders), Language delays and disorders, Auditory processing challenges, Social-pragmatic communication difficulties.
